The Gracie Hansen Story crew would like to thank Darcelle and Roxy for their time and as they recollected their past with Gracie Hansen. As friends and admirers of Gracie, they provided colorful insights to her time in Portland. Please press play below to view a few snapshots from the interview.
We are going to bring to light a story of a Washington hero who’s antics and bigger than life stage show once harnessed the attention of the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. Through a biographic documentary crafted through the oral history of living relatives, friends and local historians we hope to bring this all but forgotten tale of brazen bawdiness out of obscurity and back into our minds as inspiration to all Washingtonians dreaming of bigger things than the mud, the rain, and the trees.

He created the first shows at the Roaring Twenties and was Gracie's campaign manger in the 1970s. Below you can watch a short video of pictures taken by the crew. A very special thanks to Gordon for his time, his trust, and his hospitality.
